Shin Kaze Aikido Alliance

The practice, development, and instruction of Aikido.

A non-profit alliance dedicated to the martial art and philosophy of Aikido as founded by Morihei Ueshiba O-Sensei — officially recognized by Hombu Dojo in Tokyo.

Who we are

Uniting practitioners through shared values and the relationships developed through Aikido practice.

Shin Kaze is a non-profit organization dedicated to the practice, development, and instruction of the martial art and philosophy of Aikido as founded by Morihei Ueshiba. Operating under the guidance of Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, the Alliance provides technical and administrative guidance to Aikido practitioners and works to maintain the standards of Aikido practice.

As an organization officially recognized by Hombu Dojo, all member ranks are registered and acknowledged worldwide. Shin Kaze seeks to preserve the legacies of many Aikido teachers, to create synergy among different technical traditions, and to provide access to highly skilled and qualified instructors — many of whom have trained for decades under the direct disciples of O-Sensei.

The Alliance emphasizes inclusive participation through advisory committees, and welcomes members who maintain affiliations with other Aikido organizations, supporting each individual's autonomy in their training choices.
