Online Database Tutorial
The Ryushin Shouchi Ryu Video Database now runs entirely in your web browser — no app, no download, no login. Here's how to find and watch a clip.
Go to the Video Database
Visit aikido-db.ca/Iaijutsu.html — a random clip plays automatically at the top so you always have something to watch right away.
Choose your search criteria
Below the featured clip, pick from five drop-down lists: Category, Technique Name, Instructor's Name, RSR Rank Requirement, and Media Type. Fill in just one field or combine several — the more you select, the fewer (and more specific) the results; the fewer you select, the more clips you'll see.
Click Search
Your matching clips appear as a list, showing the catalog number, technique, category, instructor, and rank requirement for each one — so you can tell at a glance which result you want.
Click any result to watch it
Clicking a row loads that clip into the player right on the same page, along with its technique, category, and instructor — no separate window or app switch.
Start a new search anytime
Click Clear to reset all five fields and search again, as many times as you like.
